Tracie Ball is a designer, former Creative Director, photographer, mystic, writer, and author of the forthcoming travel memoir When Your Mother Calls You Home. 

 

Tracie’s writing explores the intersection of spirituality, mysticism and healing, documenting her personal experience with abuse and trauma recovery in her blog, Healing Tracie. Her travel memoir When Your Mother Calls You Home offers a firsthand account of her three month solo journey across the globe, from the Ecuadorian Amazonian to the foothills of the Himalayas in India, and the spiritual, healing, and sometimes miraculous, experiences along the way.

 

Tracie’s personal passions are facilitating growth & healing for others, exploring the transformative power of story, creative expression, and cultural immersion through travel. Her current professional interests is in strengthening community fabric through narrative and connection. Her current creative interest is in developing win-win-win scenarios that address the housing crisis, food security, and changing climate with environmentally conscious/sustainable building methods that incorporate regenerative agriculture, permaculture and/or reforestation/restoration initiatives, while teaching underserved populations and people-in-transition marketable skills, all of which contribute to the betterment of people, places, and planet. 

 

Tracie currently resides in the beautiful Cascade mountains of central Washington.
